Went here for my birthday, excellent vegan choices and good service. Cozy atmosphere.

The food was very good. Unfortunately, we were forgotten by a waitress, so that we only got our main course after over an hour. There was no excuse or explanation for that either. It was simply passed over, too bad. Edit: There were no problems with the service on the second visit.

There were only two of them, but still it was good and tasty. In today's times you should support such good restaurateurs. We only go out to dinner once a year, then the Oskars comes to mind.

You taste what you eat. The kitchen is fresh, the people are nice. The outdoor area is very pleasant on summer evenings. A real recommendation in Kaiserlautern.

The best restaurant in the city. Both the service and the dishes are perfect. After our old favorite restaurant has ceased operations, we were looking for a long time and were finally found in Oskar. The price level is upscale but adequate for the quality. Vegetarians, vegans and guests who are looking for meatless dishes are also in good hands here. So if you are looking for good food, in a nice ambience and a friendly service is right here :)

Really delicious food. My New Zealand rump steak was medium fried and buttered to medium. In addition, I must add that I had the greeting from the kitchen really heavenly tasted (it was a Paprikaaufstirch with a bread basket). The staff was also very attentive, but not intrusive, which I found very pleasant. Thank you, dear Oscar, for the nice evening and good food :).

The menu is absolutely convincing. If you have a question about the card or the wines you will be very well advised. You can tell from the great taste that all dishes are freshly prepared. Best restaurant in town. We got duck legs that were perfectly cooked and some amazing beef cheeks. Wine was reasonably priced and service was solid, if not a little sparce. Good atmosphere too, they actually keep the lights low (by German standards). We definitely waited a while for the entrees, will order an appetizer next time.
